Making it Possible. The piqlWriter

The piqlWriter is a highly sophisticated machine combining the best of mechanics, optics, electronics, image processing and light modulation. Designed to be able to store digital files on piqlFilm for 24/7 operation, and capable of producing more than 1 PB of data per year.

Through years of ground breaking development and testing, the current 2nd generation piqlWriter can write data both in digital and visual format.

The machine is installed in production locations around the world offering storage on piqlFilm as a service. As part of the Piql System, the piqlWriter can also be purchased for complete control of the full production process. Get in touch with us to learn more.

Made in Norway.
