Código binário
O armazenamento digital envolve escrever dados binários, ou seja, 0s e 1s, em um meio de armazenamento físico. O tipo de meio de armazenamento que você decide usar depende de variáveis como suas necessidades de capacidade de dados, vida útil dos dados, acesso e custo. Mesmo os fornecedores de armazenamento em nuvem gravam seus dados como uma sequência de 0s e 1s em um meio físico localizado em um centro de dados em algum lugar do mundo.
Códigos QR de alta resolução
Este código binário é convertido em pixels cinza que são então gravados no filme em quatro níveis de cinza, com 8 milhões de pontos de dados por quadro. Cada filme tem capacidade para 120 GB.
Código aberto
A tecnologia da Piql é baseada em princípios de código aberto para garantir que as informações necessárias para acessar os dados nunca fiquem bloqueadas ou dependentes de software proprietário.
